What are assessments?

The Assessments section is where you go to identify, create, and modify the risks associated with a project.

Areas of interest:

  • New Assessment - This is where you can add an individual assessment to the project that wasn't imported via a template.
  • Manage Categories - This is where you can manage the description and amount of categories needed to be created.
  • Assign Categories - This is where you can assign responsibility for a risk category as well the frequency for review

This page also allows you to see, at a categorical level, the overall risk of each particular section. Here's a brief definition of the meaning of each column:

  • Categories - This column lists the category labels of risk assessments area. You have control of adding/removing/editing category levels via the 'Manage Categories' link above.
  • Overall Risk - This column shows the current state, at a category level, of overall risk the risk assessment items within that section.
  • Progress - This is a progress bar indicator showing the completion level of each category.
  • Earliest Due - This column shows the soonest that a particular actionable item is due to be performed.
  • Assigned To - This reflects the individual who has responsibility for the risk assessment category in question.
  • Cycle - This shows how often this particular category is set to be reviewed. This can be adjusted through the "Assign Categories" link below the menu bar.
